Everything you need to know before the big day

Attire & Dress Code
We kindly invite our guests to join us dressed in formal cocktail attire. We hope to create a beautiful and refined evening together, and your elegance is very much a part of that vision.
Black tie welcome, though not required
Regarding Children & Guests
We adore your little ones dearly. Due to venue capacity and the intimate nature of the evening, we are only able to accommodate guests aged 13 and older. We so appreciate your grace and understanding, and truly look forward to celebrating with you.
Directions & Parking
The Troutdale House is nestled in the heart of historic downtown Troutdale, along the scenic Columbia River Highway — just 20 minutes east of Portland via I-84 (Exit 17). We warmly encourage guests to allow a little extra travel time on weekends, as the area tends to be beautifully busy in September.

The venue offers 32 complimentary onsite parking spaces, with additional overflow parking available along the west and east sides of the building and on surrounding streets. We kindly ask that guests reserve the nearest spaces for those who may need them most.

Venue Regulations & Policies
To honour the Troutdale House's guidelines, outside alcohol and cannabis are not permitted on the premises — all beverages will be thoughtfully provided by the venue. We also kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing sparklers, birdseed, rice, or loose glitter. Your cooperation in upholding these policies ensures a beautiful and seamless experience for everyone.
Photography & Videography
We have engaged both a professional photographer and a professional videographer to document our day with care. We kindly ask that during the ceremony and reception, guests remain mindful of their positioning so as not to obstruct the view or equipment of our professionals. The most treasured gift you can give us is to be fully present — our team will ensure every moment is beautifully captured.
An Evening’s Menu
We have thoughtfully curated an evening of wonderful food and drink for our guests. Please see our menu for a full preview of what will be served throughout the celebration.
Guest List & RSVP Inquiries
To ensure a smooth and joyful evening for all, we kindly ask that guests refer to the names listed on their RSVP invitation for guidance on their party. At this time, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones beyond those originally listed. We so appreciate your understanding, and we cannot wait to share this beautiful day with each of you.
